Nucleus Roots

Nucleus Roots
Junction 2, The

Nucleus Roots have a massive stage presence and produce a contagiously danceable, uplifting roots sound. This live line up sees another chapter in the band’s colourful history. For the first time in many years they will be playing as a full live band. Nucleus Roots Producer and Musical Director P.Lush, will resume duties on the Bass, his brother Gary Morris will join him on guitar, Peter Technical on the bubbling keyboards and Delroy Walker; drummer for Suns of Arqua, Finlaye Quaye and MC Busby, on the classic Nucleus rhythms. This line up will provide backing for vocalists; Moses, Simon Dan & Mr Marvellous.

Nucleus Roots formed in 1995 from the ashes of legendary Manchester punky/reggae outfit Community Charge. With a few line up shuffles along the way the band have now developed a cohesive, creative unit.

Recent summers have seen Nucleus raising a storm at clubs and festivals across the Continent, highlights involved supporting Lee Perry in Bergen, Norway, the prestigious Ostroda Reggae festival, Poland and the huge Dour festival in Belgium.

JUST JAZZ

JUST JAZZ
Hidden Rooms

A live jazz night hosted by Myles Sanko.
Our Cambridge needs this!

The show takes place on every first and third Thursday of the month at the all new venue *HIDDEN ROOMS* on Jesus Lane (The old Po Na Na's).

I love good Jazz baby!!! So I have taken it upon myself to create a live Jazz night worth coming to and telling a friend about.

I am taking Jazz out of those old smelly pubs and putting it in a venue with great atmosphere that wont leave you feeling intimidated but welcomed. At JUST JAZZ all you have to do is sit back, relax, in a beautifully designed bar with sexy cocktails, good beers, tasty wine and first class jazz.
