Yet another fantastic band returning to Marigolds after a fantastic gig last year.
Canadian - born singer, guitarist Jimmy C moved to Britain via Vancouver, San Francisco and Japan since when Jimmy and the band are earning a deserved reputation as one of the most entertaining and hard-working bands on the London circuit.

Terry Boon on bass and vocals, Keith Harris on guitar, John Andreotti on guitar, and Ken Shillingford on drums.
The Fugitives have been on the run in the central lowland swamps of West Essex for a good few years now. Having managed to evade the bloodhounds they have hold up at Marigolds on several occasions in the past.

Rollo Markee and The Tailshakers are a band that take their influences from the different styles of music that were prominent in the fifties and sixties in the US. Their sound is an authentic blend of Chicago blues and west coast swing.

From North London the acclaimed Eric Ranzoni brings his Trio to Marigolds for the first time. Renowned on the London Blues scene, including a residency at Boisdales in Belgravia, for his tremendous piano playing Eric’s musical talents are second to none

Since coming back to London in 2003, he’s gained a reputation as a skilled and versatile pianist, “equipped” with a warm singing voice. Solo or accompanied by excellent musicians, he’s played the Blues (and Roots music in general) in many top venues in London and about, with frequent stints abroad. In great demand as Blues pianist with several London-based bands, a recent highlight was playing the piano in the UK tour of Mud Morganfield, the eldest son of Muddy Waters, along with Big Joe Louis and West Weston.

The Willows Debut E.P Launch at The Boathouse, Cambridge

An Alt Folk band who create a beautiful sound that intricately weaves traditional and modern roots music within well-crafted songs. Based in Cambridge the band formed in the summer 2010 and bring together members of The Winter kings, Jade Rhiannon and The Black Flowers. They have been playing many a gig since, as well as supporting top folk acts such as Lau, and are rapidly building up an ever enthusiastic fan base along the way.

Back at Marigolds by very popular demand after fabulous gigs in earlier years, the Untouchables describe themselves as playing Chicago Blues from the Lea Valley Delta. They draw on the music of the Chess Records era with all the obvious influences of jazz, folk, R&B and gospel that was so evident of that time.

The band aims to recreate their version of the blues of 1950s Chicago and turn in a stonking set which is guaranteed to shake any audience out and have them rocking in the aisles!
