Snake has always managed to combine technical flair with r’n’b passion and stands comparison with the great soul/jazz artists such as David Sanborn, Grover Washington and Wilton Felder (The Jazz Crusaders). His blues inflected sound has earned him those high profile gigs with the likes of Ray Charles, Tina Turner, Soul II Soul, Chaka Khan and of course Motorhead. You will have also heard him on recordings with Cher, M People and Paul McCartney and if you like going to the cinema, you may well have heard his playing on scores of scores eg Sting, Richard Niles, Dave Stewart etc etc. blues gigs - acoustic jazz soul Wed, 25 Jan 2012 12:09:42 +0000 Breeze Murdoch 4681 at http://movingtone.com Marigolds Blues Club presents the Jives http://movingtone.com/events/marigolds-blues-club-presents-jives

Start: 9 Dec 2011 - 11:43

Timezone: Etc/GMT+1

The Jives
www.thejives.com www.myspace.com/thejivesduo

Marigolds Blues club makes no apologies for bringing back yet another great act that performed a great gig last year.

Doors and Licensed bar open at 7.30pm

01279 414174 / 421763

See the Club’s web site for confirmation and further details:
www.musicatmarigolds.co.uk
blues Fri, 24 Jun 2011 10:45:39 +0000 Music at Marigolds 4243 at http://movingtone.com Marigolds Blues Club presents Rag Mama Rag http://movingtone.com/events/marigolds-blues-club-presents-rag-mama-rag

Start: 11 Nov 2011 - 11:39

Timezone: Etc/GMT+1

www.rag-mama-rag.com

Rag Mama Rag are another act returning to Marigolds by very popular demand after a fabulous gig last year.

Doors and Licensed bar open at 7.30pm

01279 414174 / 421763

See the Club’s web site for confirmation and further details:
www.musicatmarigolds.co.uk
blues Fri, 24 Jun 2011 10:41:14 +0000 Music at Marigolds 4241 at http://movingtone.com Marigolds Blues Club presents Jimmy C and the Bluesdragons http://movingtone.com/events/marigolds-blues-club-presents-jimmy-c-and-bluesdragons

Start: 14 Oct 2011 - 11:34

Timezone: Etc/GMT+1

JimmyC and the Bluesdragons
www.bluesdragons.com www.myspace.com/jimmycandthebluesdragons

Yet another fantastic band returning to Marigolds after a fantastic gig last year.
Canadian - born singer, guitarist Jimmy C moved to Britain via Vancouver, San Francisco and Japan since when Jimmy and the band are earning a deserved reputation as one of the most entertaining and hard-working bands on the London circuit.

Doors and Licensed bar open at 7.30pm

01279 414174 / 421763

See the Club’s web site for confirmation and further details:
www.musicatmarigolds.co.uk
blues Fri, 24 Jun 2011 10:36:00 +0000 Music at Marigolds 4239 at http://movingtone.com Marigolds Blues Club presents the Fugitives http://movingtone.com/events/marigolds-blues-club-presents-fugitives

Start: 16 Sep 2011 - 11:29

Timezone: Etc/GMT+1

The Fugitives: www.thefugitives.co.uk

Terry Boon on bass and vocals, Keith Harris on guitar, John Andreotti on guitar, and Ken Shillingford on drums.
The Fugitives have been on the run in the central lowland swamps of West Essex for a good few years now.
