The delectable singer of The Bluetones, returns to Cambridge armed only with an acoustic guitar and a suitcase-full of hits. Playing songs that span, not only The Bluetones and his solo stuff, Mark also allows songs that have influenced him over the years. A great one man show that shouldn't be missed.

Anna Leddra Chapman may be a mouthful to say but pretty soon she'll be the name on everybody's lips. Young, gifted and talented has be overused so much it should be a curse word but you can't help but use it with a smile when describing this young, gifted and talented singer/ songwriter.

Rivers

Rivers is the name Jazz (Right Turn Clyde, The Saffs, The Judge Reinholds) hides behind when he can't hide behind walls of distortion or his ego. Showing that the songs are always there, he always makes sure he plays from the heart and the throat.

Rivers must be the only musician out there without a myspace.

Baluji Shrivastav’s Song Celestial: Heart of the World. The Maltings, Ely CB7 4BB. As part of the Heart of the World event classical Indian musician Baluji Shrivastav combines bass sitar, kora, violin, with jazz inspired vocals and a leading spoken word artist to create a new work. This rare coming together of North Indian, West African and Western classical traditions creates an exciting and moving performance.

From roots deep in Celtic traditional music and jazz improvisation the band move effortlessly through haunting Celtic ballads, flying Irish traditional tunes, jazz standards and even Latin rhythms, all blended together in Carmina’s unmistakeable style. The set often features audience favourites such as the band’s versions of Sinead O’Connor’s ‘I am Stretched on Your Grave’, Joni Mitchell’s ‘Big Yellow Taxi’, Van Morrison’s ‘Moondance’; songs from the English and Irish Folk traditions. All seating for this performance will be seated at tables, carbaret style.
