From roots deep in Celtic traditional music and jazz improvisation the band move effortlessly through haunting Celtic ballads, flying Irish traditional tunes, jazz standards and even Latin rhythms, all blended together in Carmina’s unmistakeable style. The set often features audience favourites such as the band’s versions of Sinead O’Connor’s ‘I am Stretched on Your Grave’, Joni Mitchell’s ‘Big Yellow Taxi’, Van Morrison’s ‘Moondance’; songs from the English and Irish Folk traditions. All seating for this performance will be seated at tables, carbaret style.
