Performed by Stuart King (clarinet), Ignacio Molins (percussion), Sarah Nicolls (piano) and Oliver Coates (cello). Expect strong new works with amplification and electronics. Emily Hall's powerful put flesh on juxtaposes cello with electronics made from an intense sermon delivered by the Reverend Audrey F. Branson, a lady pastor of the Church of the Open Door of Philadelphia.
Other highlights include Anna Meredith's beat-based remix of Scotland the Brave and Mark Bowden's hoist for pebbles with film. The rest of the concert will feature brand new material written for this opening event which will be performed by Oliver Coates, Stuart King, Ignacio Molins and Sarah Nicolls - four of the most exciting performers on the music scene.
A strong visual identity is part of the Camberwell Composers Collective and the performance will also feature animations and live projected drawing which accompany the performances from regular collaborators, animator Tony Comley and illustrator Eleanor Meredith.
