A special treat for the festive season. Two great acts for the price of one!

Sound Tradition provided an excellent support act when Dan McKinnon played at the club back in May 2007 and we are delighted to welcome them back to the club. They are a three piece, mostly a cappella folk group who enjoy singing traditional folk music in harmony. They currently live the East Anglia area, but all three have previously lived abroad for some time. They had all been involved with music and singing for several years before deciding to form Sound Tradtion in early 2006.

Mary and Anahata have played at Ely Folk Club on a number of occasions, both as support and main act, and have also been our guests in the Club Tent at Cambridge Folk Festival. They specialise in traditional English and Welsh songs and tunes, playing between them an impressive number of instruments.
