They can't buy booze. They can't vote. They probably can't legally drive, not on public roads. But, Rolo Tomassi are also probably the most exciting grind-cum-Casio-cum-hard-come-whatever core band in Britain as of right this bloody minute. And a minute spent in the company of Rolo Tomassi is a particularly bloody minute.
Six-string instruments are mercilessly slain, their guts and wires and knobs and switches spilling onto the studio floor like the innards of a bit-part character in a slasher b-movie; you know, the sort that's obviously getting bumped off as early as the titles, if not before. Keyboards and drums are similarly abused, creating an impressive Trencher-meets-Blood Brothers noise that's all the more exciting for its makers' youthfulness. Seriously, this is seriously good, and as an introduction to a band that could be a must-see once they're old enough to actually tour properly, it's practically faultless." - Drownedinsound

electro gigs - electric grindcore rock Fri, 19 Sep 2008 10:25:11 +0000 1232 at Boomslang

Start: 2 Aug 2008 - 22:00

End: 3 Aug 2008 - 04:00

Timezone: Etc/GMT

Room 1: Breakbeat, Electro & House
Streetlife DJs (Kitsume), Slyde, Mr B, That Girl DJ, and VJ Rocket Vision

Room 2: Hosted by The Priory

The Fish, Sam I Am, and George
breakboat clubbing clubs and societies dance electro tech house Thu, 26 Jun 2008 11:04:16 +0000 Corinna Moving Tone 713 at Cellar Bar 8 Cellar Bar 8 is Cambridge's freshest venue, We are home to some of the best nights out in Cambridge ranging from live bands to full on club assults, to name just a few: Viva la punk, tripycyty, Big, W
read more
alternative clubbing clubs and societies dance dance disco djs drum 'n' bass dubfuzion electro electronic electronica funk garage gigs - electric gospel house house-breakin indie metal music comedy pop punk rock ska techno venue Fri, 25 Apr 2008 09:58:48 +0000 tomadams 170 at Club Goo Club Goo hit the Cambridge scene running on July 14th 2005.
acoustic beats clubbing concert disco djs electro electronica gigs - acoustic gigs - electric guitar indie promoter rock Fri, 25 Apr 2008 09:34:50 +0000 Alycia Hayes 167 at
