Since then Trinity has flourished and grown, and is now a home to around 600 undergraduates, 300 graduates, and over 160 Fellows. Trinity exists to give its members a rewarding, richly resourced, and intellectually inspiring place in which to pursue their education and research. Princes, spies, poets and prime-ministers have all been taught here, and members of the College go on to a very wide range of professions and careers after taking degrees in all the subjects the University offers. College life is lively and diverse, with students coming here from all over the world as well as from all kinds of different schools in the United Kingdom. <p> Services in the College Chapel are open to all. It is also used by members of the College for musical and other performances. </p> acoustic charities choirs Choral Church music classical classical clubs and societies community events gigs - acoustic organ spiritual venue workshops Thu, 03 Jul 2008 11:15:20 +0000 Corinna Moving Tone 820 at http://movingtone.com Cambridge Chorale - GLORIA - John Rutter http://movingtone.com/events/cambridge-chorale-gloria-john-rutter <div class="event-nodeapi"><div class="event-start"><label>Start: </label>12 Jul 2008 - 19:30</div></div> <div class="event-nodeapi"><div class="event-end"><label>End: </label>12 Jul 2008 - 23:00</div></div> <div class="event-nodeapi"><div class="event-tz"><label>Timezone: </label>Etc/GMT</div></div> The stunning setting of St Mary's Church, Saffron Walden will ring out with the irresistible combination of choir, organ and brass, as the award-winning Cambridge Chorale and the exceptional Prime Brass join forces to perform Rutter's exuberant Gloria. <p> Ceremonial music is also featured in this wonderful programme, including Walton's stirring Coronation Te Deum and Purcell's poignant Music for the Funeral of Queen Mary.
