Ace Bedford-Cambridge country-rock band The Whybirds are recording their third studio album.

The band, now a three-piece - Dave Banks, Ben Haswell and Luke Tuchsherer - have been working with Nick Mallaig, who produced their first album in 2008. They say 'take it from us, while this record will be a step in a new direction, it’ll still be very much a Whybirds album and we think it’s going to be brilliant.'
