Marking the tenth anniversary since the re-establishment of Oxford Improvisers and celebrating the remarkable range and diversity of music it has fostered in Oxford and beyond, Cohesion 2011 will be a unique four-day festival of new and improvised music and performance over a two-week period.

Ishmael Wadada Leo Smith, internationally famous composer and trumpeter, will play his own compositions both solo and with leading UK improvisers alongside the Oxford Improvisers orchestra.
