The Moving Tone Sessions provide a setting for the presentation of newly composed song and instrumental music, with four Moving Tone Sessions planned for 2008 - in February, May, July, and October.

Drawing together two distinct musical traditions, the Moving Tone Sessions present an evening in two parts; music by composer/double bass player Daphna Sadeh (Israel) and the Voyagers, and music by vocalist Anne L Ryan (Ireland) with Moving Tone Musicians.

Woven through Daphna Sadeh's composition is a rich red tapestry of Eastern European Jewish Music, laced and beaded with Middle Eastern traditions and Ethnic thread. These original compositions and arrangements weave a vibrant live picture known uniquely as the sound of The Voyagers.

About Moving Tone
Moving Tone is a music arts organisation with a simple aim - to promote and encourage live music performance. Established as a social enterprise company on 6 September 2005 it aims to facilitate music performance through listening, performing, education and participation. It achieves this through the Moving Tone Sessions, Moving Tone Voices, Moving Tone Workshops and Moving Tone News, Cambridgeshire's comprehensive and independent music events calendar.

Moving Tone Voices
This new choir is being established to explore the human voice in creative, surprising and unashamedly eccentric ways. Working with traditional and modern sounds, the choir will spend the coming months developing a repertoire.
