Cambridge's first-ever Buskers and Street Performers Festival takes place this week on Christ's Pieces and various city streets, from Tuesday 29 to Thursday 31 July.
The Festival will feature an eclectic mix of performances, including a variety of musical groups, solo guitarists, dance acts, African drummers, Egyptian dancers, steel bands, magicians and escapologists. There will be a competition for the public to vote for their favourite busker.
A highlight will be a performance outside the Guildhall on Wednesday 30- July, starting at 1pm, featuring Hot Lips & Chilli Fingers, Steve Lockwood and Chris Newman, and Murray Hockridge and Dave Kilminster.
