BlueTone: a new music programme for 209radio

Moving Tone presents a new monthly radio programme on 209radio, the Community Radio for Cambridge. Hosted by Moving Tone's Anne L Ryan (pictured) - a vocalist* in her own right - BlueTone will feature music and information about new music, avant-garde, experimental and electro-acoustic sounds focusing on local composers, and highlighting the visits of national and international composers and performers to Cambridge.

The October edition of the programme presents music by trio Acoustic Triangle (British), Stephen Tabener of The Spooky Men's Chorale (Australia), Arvo Part (Estonia), Daphna Sadeh (Isreal) and Stephen Montague (USA/UK). The October edition will mark the first FM transmission of the show, and will go out on 105 FM at 9.00pm on Thursday, 18 October.

If you would like to listen to the live broadcast, tune in to 105FM or go to www.209radio.co.uk. If you cannot listen live, you can go to the archive and have a listen at another time. From October BlueTone will be presented on the fourth Thursday of the month.

If you have something you would like to be featured in the show, please send music for the programme to: Moving Tone, 6A Green End, Comberton, Cambs CB23 7DY, or call us on 01223 264991.
