Event details: Last summer Wysing Arts Centre commissioned Shezad Dawood to create an alternative Western on our 11 acre site. The result is a 56 minute long film that explores the slippage between live performance and cinematic representation. Zombies, cowboys, a donkey and a Valkyrie opera singer all appear, alongside artists Doug Fishbone and Jimmie Durham, as well as the many local people who took part in the production. A new publication on Feature, by Book Works London, will be available on the night. Screening FREE, just turn up.
