Event details: Together with renowned pianist Malcolm Martineau, Simon Keenlyside will be performing Schumann's Dichterliebe together with songs by Faure, Ravel and Debussy.

Internationally renowned operatic baritone Simon Keenlyside CBE, is taking a break from his European song recital tour (London, Vienna and Madrid) to fit in a concert at Cambridge´s West Road Concert Hall on Januray 15th 2009.

The concert will help raise funds for local opera company, Music Platform, whose Artistic Director Mark Tinkler says "This is a rare opportunity to hear this great operatic artist. Simon was last in Cambridge in 2005. If you missed seeing Simon at the Wigmore Hall or as Marquis de Posa in the Royal Opera House's recent production of Don Carlos, now is your chance."
