Ely Sinfonia brings Ely Cathedral alive with music to conjure up visions of the Northern Lights at a concert at 7.30pm on Saturday 6th March. Highlight of the concert of music from the north is Sibelius’ highly evocative violin concerto, played by young, international British virtuoso Matthew Trusler. Also on the programme is the Peer Gynt suite no 1 by Norwegian composer Edward Grieg and Symphony no. 5 by Carl Nielsen, the Danish composer.

Matthew Trusler will meet children from the audience, as well as premium ticket holders and Friends of Ely Sinfonia, at a special reception in the interval.

All tickets are now available from Ely Cathedral Box Office (Tel 01353 660349, email box.office@cathedral.ely.anglican.org and online from https://tickets.elycathedral.org). Tickets are also available in person from Burrows Bookshop, High St Passage, Ely.

Ticket info £22.50 (premium), £18, £13.50, £10 (reserved), £7 (unreserved). Special rates for concessions and schools: ask at Box Office.
