Event details: The Winter Fair will be opened by the Mayor and Michelle Spring at 10.30 at Ditchburn Gardens. This year the Fair is bigger and better than ever. A programme will be handed out to the public listing the many activities being organised for the day at the different venues and shops.

Activities include: Chinese Lion Dance, live music, guided walks, circus and street performers, art and photography exhibitions, food fair and much much more. Indeed, with most of the shops along Mill Road also hosting an event or special offer, there are far too many events to be listed here. This is an important event in the seasonal business calendar, bringing many thousands of people to the area, raising the profile of Mill Road, increasing awareness of the many and diverse businesses and community groups on and around Mill Road, and generally establishing the area's identity in Cambridge.
