Event details: Michelle Shocked is a traveller and a troubadour; a "picker-poet," as they say in Texas. Her musical career was ignited by a bootleg recording made at Kerrville Folk Festival, The Texas Campfire Tapes. Subsequent albums have incorporated rock, folk, blues, country and gospel and cemented her reputation a true American original.
