An entrancing evening of music from the Jenkinson Farr Duo

Continuing their 50th anniversary season, the Linton Music Society welcome the multi-award-winning Jenkinson Farr Duo. Katherine Jenkinson (cello) and Alison Farr (piano) met as students at the Royal Academy of Music and have now been playing together for ten years. During this time, they have become experts in the cello/piano repertoire and have had music composed especially for them. They have played at The Wigmore Hall, St Martin-in-the-fields and the Southbank Centre.

The irresistible programme includes Vivaldi’s Sonata No6 Rv46, Shostakovich’s Sonata for Cello and Piano Op 40, Fauré’s Elegie and Beethoven’s Sonata in D Major Op 102 No 2.
