Guest Pianist Kathryn Stott

We shall be joined in this concert by the wonderful pianist Kathryn Stott for Fauré’s magical First Piano Quartet and Brahms’s intensely powerful Piano Quintet. These will be preceded by the brilliance of Mendelssohn’s dazzling D major quartet – his Op.44 No.1 was actually written the year after Op.44 No.2.
