Attributed to King David, the Book of Psalms contains some of the most anguished and most jubilant expressions of the human spirit and has inspired choral works of great beauty. This concert weaves a rich tapestry of styles and moods, with music by Morley, Purcell, Schütz, Handel, Mendelssohn, Greene, Le Fleming and Parnell.
