Elgar’s 'The Dream of Gerontius'

The Dream of Gerontius, is widely regarded as Elgar's finest choral work, and some consider it his masterpiece. The work calls for a large orchestra, double chorus with semi chorus, and three soloists. The performance will be sung by some of Cambridgeshire's finest choral resources combining Ely Choral Society, the Cambridgeshire Choral Society and Ely Consort.
