Event details: The renowned Cotton Club Orchestra, under the leadership of Keith Nichols and Graham Read, performs sweet dance and hot jazz music of the 1920s and 1930s. It specializes in re-discovering rare and unrecorded compositions from the early jazz repertoire. The Cotton Club Orchestra appears regularly at the South Bank, at other leading British and European venues and at top jazz festivals around the globe.


Keith Nichols lectures in jazz history at the Royal Academy of Music.
