Cambridge Taverner Choir

Date: 14 Dec 2008 - 19:45
End Date: 14 Dec 2008 - 22:30
Event details: Britten's Ceremony of Carols, a joyous collection of expressive medieval carols set to evocative music and accompanied by harp, forms the centrepiece of this concert.

In addition, the choir performs some of the best-loved British carols of the twentieth century, including Ord's Adam Lay Ybounden, Howells' A Spotless Rose, and Vaughan-Williams' This is the Truth from Above.

The Cambridge Taverner Choir emerged from the Oxford and Cambridge choral tradition and has built a reputation for powerful and expressive performances.
